Ever since I took an internship my senior year of high school for a kindergarten class, I have loved the idea of teaching. And being around little children has always brought me so much joy. Thats why combining these two was a no brainer when choosing my major. Elementary Education is something I am so passionate about I and I hope to one day go on to teach and help make a difference in children's lives.
These are great Madi! Ever since I returned from a mission in PerĂº, I've wanted to learn Italian. I've given it a few half-attempts but never really gone after it like I should. Very admirable that you want to teach--I still remember many of my elementary school teachers and the impact they had on my formative years. The tennis thing is sweet too! Most of all, I admire the way you talked about your family. I feel the same way about mine and think it's so great that you have that kind of relationship with them!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in 8th grade, my family took a trip to rural Santiniketan, India, where there's a school called Antaranga that my family helps to support. I had the opportunity to work together with my mom, and together we taught kindergarten and preschool every day. It was a great experience that I'll never forget. I admire those who want to teach, and who want to work with children. It's often thankless task, but it's such a wonderful opportunity to touch the lives of so many.
